What are the shipping costs?

Within the Netherlands, we offer free shipping on all orders. For shipments to Belgium and the rest of Europe, costs are calculated at checkout.

How does the return process work?

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If an item is not to your liking, you can return it within 14 days of receipt. Register your return in my OAXO account. Returns within the Netherlands are free via PostNL. Please ensure items are unworn and returned in their original packaging.

Which payment methods do you accept?

You can securely pay with iDEAL, Klarna (pay later), Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), and PayPal. All transactions are encrypted and secured.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Orders within the Netherlands are usually delivered within 1 to 3 business days. Once your package leaves our atelier, you will receive a Track & Trace code via email.

How do OAXO sizes fit?

Our items often have a 'relaxed' or adjustable fit due to the wrap concept or modular elements. On each product page, you will find specific sizing advice. If you are in doubt between two sizes, we recommend contacting us for personal advice, so we can work together to minimize the chance of a return.

Are the items suitable for different body types?

Yes, the wrap concept we frequently use is inherently very inclusive and adaptable to various body shapes. It allows you to tie the garment as tight or loose as you prefer, ensuring it always fits beautifully.

Why are OAXO products made in the Netherlands?

We believe in local craftsmanship and complete transparency. By producing in a Dutch atelier, we guarantee fair wages, safe working conditions, and a minimal carbon footprint due to short transport lines. Moreover, this allows us to maintain the highest quality and respond quickly to new collections.

What materials does OAXO Atelier use?

We work exclusively with natural and sustainable materials, such as organic cotton, linen, wool, and deadstock fabrics without polyester or nylon. Our mission is "no plastic against your skin." This is not only better for the planet but also ensures breathable and luxurious wearing comfort that lasts for years.

Why is the price of OAXO higher than regular fashion brands?

The price of an OAXO item reflects the true cost of fair, local production and high-quality natural materials. Furthermore, because our items are modular, you often buy two or three looks in one garment. This significantly lowers the 'cost per wear': you invest in quality that lasts longer and can be worn more often.

What exactly does ‘modular clothing’ mean?

OAXO Atelier’s modular clothing is designed to be worn in multiple ways. This means that one garment can be transformed into a different look, for example by wearing it inside out (reversible), back to front, or by adjusting components such as sleeves. Our goal is to create more variety in your wardrobe with fewer garments.

How do I know how I can wear an item?

For each product in our webshop, the description explicitly states how the item can be transformed. We use terms such as ‘reversible’ or ‘multi-way’. In addition, on the product pages, you will find photos of the different wearing options. We also recommend following our Instagram for styling videos and inspiration.

Is the quality of both sides the same for reversible items?

Absolutely. When designing our reversible items, we pay equal attention to the finish of both sides. There are no visible seams or labels that make the ‘other side’ inferior. You are essentially buying two complete garments in one.
